Our purpose is to help you make your dog a more enjoyable companion. Whether you want to
work towards a title in one of the dog sports, or simply make your dog a better canine citizen, the Aberystwyth Dog Training Club (ADTC) has a training program just for you.
Our instructors are volunteers with many years of experience in all aspects of dog activity, including obedience, clicker, agility, and dancing.
In addition to training you to train your dog, we can advise you on behavioral problems and dog care and feeding.
Both dogs and handlers learn in our training classes. We train you to train your dog !
Every dog and handler progress at a different rate.
Our methods stress positive communication between dog and handler. We believe that unwanted behavior is best corrected using the least amount of force necessary to get the message across to the dog. All levels of class instruction focus on the proper timing of praise and correction that produce results.
